Girl....a picture says a thousand words. Therefore, no need to say anything. Hope one day I will be able to taste your cooking or we can have a mom vs Dad cooking contest. Your neighbor

First of All Sha is right on. It is just rare to even find women that enjoy cooking. I am so used to hearing women of my age say, i can cook if "I want to".. So again, as Sha said, those dishes look awesome.
Now onto the kids- I am not sure why some kids do not like good food.My 9 yr nephew is like that. If it is not fast food, he is not interested. But now he is at least starting to try things so I do think they slowly grow out of it and start experimenting.
And as Don said, they will learn that NO ONE cooks like mom. No one. So no matter how many girlfriends they have.. Mom will always be #1 for those boys. Never worry about how other men feel, cause the ment htat count, your little men, are the only ones that matter.

Okay I am going to need you to do three things:

-keep up the great work as a divamom!

-supply me with the recipes of the three dishes in your post...yum!

-infuse your love of cooking and other delicious traits into more women, particularly the ones I'm dating ;)

Thanks Don. That made me feel really good to think of my sons telling their girlfriends and wives about my cooking. But then I think I may feel a way if I cook for a boyfriend or husband he tells me no one can cook like his mom.

i personally can look at the foods shots and tell that you know exactly what you're doing in the kitchen. the dishes look fine and tasty and, even more so, CLEAN. so i wouldn't worry too much about those hilarious dinner conversations (trust me i've been there). it's not likely that five and seven year old's will truly understand a fine meal.

chances are, as they become teenagers and grown men, they will inform their girlfriends and wives that no one prepared meals like their mom.
